The consistency is more important than the specific time of day. We recommend mixing one up after your daily workout to build a healthy habit. You can take Complete Protein with or without food.
Where's my scooper?
We intentionally didn't include one to reduce single-use plastics. As runners, we've seen too much plastic strewn on the side of the road, and we want to take steps to reduce our impact on the planet.
Why is there 32g of YESTEIN®, but only 25g of total protein per serving?
Well spotted, eagle eye. By weight, our fermented nutritional yeast protein is 80% protein, which works out as 25g of total protein per serving. The rest is made up of carbs (8-9%), fat (5-6%), water (2%) and ash (3%).
How many times can I take Complete Protein in a day?
Most guidelines advise 1-2g protein per kg of body weight per day. As everybody and every body is different, take a look at the Supplement Facts panel to determine the correct dosage for you. If you're unsure about the appropriate amount, or have concerns about taking too much, speak to your doctor.
Why do you recommend Complete Protein post-workout if it includes a slow-digesting protein?
We recommend taking Complete Protein after a workout to get the most out of the protein, creatine, and digestive enzymes in each serving. You can take it any time of the day, but post-workout will deliver the best results for recovery support.
How does YESTEIN® compare to whey protein?
Unlike whey protein, YESTEIN® is a slow-digesting protein, taking several hours to break down and be absorbed. However, research suggests it may be as effective as whey protein in improving lean mass and strength.* We pair the YESTEIN® with a digestive enzyme complex, which breaks down proteins into smaller peptides and amino acids for easier absorption. This means Complete Protein may have an enhanced rate of protein digestion when compared to the protein alone.
